Rover Park - Tenterfield - Northern New South Wales Australia
Situated on the eastern fall of The Great Dividing Range between Casino & Tenterfield is Rover Park, altitude 720 metres (we rarely experience frosts). On the Bruxner Highway, 2 hours from Byron Bay, 3 hours from Brisbane, 2.5 hours from the Gold Coast and just 35 kms from Tenterfield, Rover Park is a paradise for nature lovers. With 4000 acres of incredibly beautiful countryside comprising fascinating rock formations, valleys, rainforest pockets, waterfalls, breathtaking views, a river and creek, abundant wildlife and many species of birds, Rover Park offers holidays that you'll never forget. It's a place that you'll want to return to time and time again.
We provide large shady camping grounds for tents, caravans and camper trailers, accommodation in enclosed undercover caravans and Lodge accommodation suitable for families, groups and backpackers. For your convenience we provide full EFTPOS facilities.
Activities include bushwalking, swimming, gold-panning, fishing, 4WD driving (from beginner to advanced), children's playground, BMX bike track, animal nursery, 2-hole fun golf course or simply relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere. With a family fun4WD parkand aseparate motor bike park, we are convinced that you'll find Rover Park one of Australia's best 4WD adventure parks!
The park is open every weekend from Thursday to Monday and all school holidays QLD and NSW. Other arrangements available by appointment.

We have installed a piece of the Gold Coast, the old Wet & Wild waterslide , into our new nearly full dam. It's 76m long and is great fun for everyone!

We are close to Drake Historical Mining Town (14 kms west of Drake Hotel), Tenterfield, Bald Rock and Boonoo Boonoo National Parks, so if you do feel the need to explore outside of Rover Park there are plenty of interesting opportunities.
The road from the Bruxner Highway to Rover Park is now fully-sealed (bitumen) and getting to the park is now so easy!

Important announcement!Rover Park is not for sale anymore, its off the market. Our son and his family are moving in and giving us oldies a hand. We have upgradet allready some off the old tracks, built a second new moto cross and a pee wee track, a new 4WD Creek run and have just started a BMX track. A mini golf course has just been formed up, which confirms - new blood = new energy. Hope we will see you all at the Octoberfest. Hans and Heidi - Rover Park.
